Town of Golden Toilet Rebate Program

The town of Golden is offering a maximum of two rebates for utility account holders that replace old 13 liter or more per flush with either a 6 liter toilet ($100) or a dual flush toilet ($180) approved toilet.

Eligibility

  • You must be on the municipal water and sewer system (you receive a utility bill from the Town of Golden).
  • The new toilet will replace an old toilet with a flush volume of 13L or more.
  • The new toilet(s) meet the certification requirements.
  • Purchase and install a CSA or Warnock Hershey certified 6L or dual flush toilet and keep the receipt.
  • Maximum 2 rebates per utility account. If you own multiple properties then you have multiple utility accounts and thereby qualify for 2 rebates per property
  • Take before and after photos or keep the landfill receipt.

Application procedure

  1. Fill out the application form and submit along with original receipt of new toilet, photos or landfill receipt.
  2. Drop-off Completed Application Package at Town Hall or mail to:
